         Journeys to the far east inspired the owners to rearrange their garden at the Tegernsee. Inside the garden we find citations of the alps? foothills with gravel banks, fountains and rock paths and of the far Eastern philosophy as well, with typically formed pine trees and set pieces brought from Japan. The outer landscape is ?borrowed? and integrated into the garden by particular views.

        Carved gargoyles protect the house from evil spirits, a Zen Garden with a white magnolia tree has become the meditative centre.
