Sometimes, keeping it simple can have a huge pay off. These clients wanted to update their courtyard to match the style of their very modern condo. With limited space, and a desire to reduce water and maintenance of their yard, we designed a beautiful, simple, and elegant retreat. To optimize the space, strategic plantings and simple construction was used to distract from necessary utility eye sores and improve the flow and functionality of the space.

Two Will Fleming Yaupons were placed on each side of the gas meter to disguise it from the patio perspective. A short cedar fence was constructed to obscure the trash and recycling cans from view. A second concrete step was added to an existing slab to improve the flow and functionality of the garage access.
