Embracing nature in such a way that outdoor spaces are equally as habitable as the rooms enclosed within the walls, Streamside Garden assumes a sort of “wild elegance” through its judicious use of native plant materials in a sweeping design that mirrors the grandeur of the surrounding environment. Despite the fact that it sits less than a half-mile from the city’s downtown core and is situated along one of the town’s most traveled residential streets, the design challenge was to create a quiet oasis of perfected nature and true mountain retreat.
