The new Pleasant Point Playground is located within a 2-acre park situated within the Imlay Park neighborhood. The recently completed renovation is defined by a series of paths that wind around custom play equipment and create dynamic topography with fully accessible sloped walkways. Topographical changes within the playground create play “nooks” where slides add a playful surprise, while the elevation changes blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Vivid and colorful playground equipment targeted toward children ages two to twelve is complemented by bright, natural materials in greens and blues. Native plants frame the play experience and add a natural dimension to a limestone outcropping wall and stairs.
