The redevelopment of the Burg of the Castle of Gorizia Castle was an opportunity to confront with the symbol of the city, rich in history and important location for the mutations of identity that have occurred in times as result of different dominations . What is implemented is a profound reinterpretation of the past, that allow the creation of a new scenario , somehow different but in continuity with the history . The themes of the project were various and in deep relationships between them: restoring the original axis of distribution and the related hierarchies, the creation of a green amphitheater in relation with the main square of the burg, the creation of an abacus of materials able to give a new identity in the sign of simplicity and to ensure a substantial duration of the intervention;
