With uninterrupted views to Aspen Mountain, the restored woodland landscape of this three-acre estate was thoughtfully crafted to complement the Adirondack-style residence. An existing pond, preserved and restored with a tapestry of riparian plantings, serves as a visual and recreational centerpiece. Fed by an existing irrigation ditch, water cascades into the site through a reconstructed granite waterfall. As water approaches the residence, a sheltered stone terrace cantilevers over the water course, creating a multi-purposed gathering space. With the glow of an outdoor fireplace combining with the sounds of rushing water, the terrace provides the most intimate space of the garden.
